A-Listings: Celebrity Real Estate On The Market
In his upcoming film “Elysium,” Matt Damon takes on a corrupt government as he tries to bring peace and equality to a futuristic society. In real life, the star has recently taken on the real estate market, listing his Miami Beach mansion for $20 million.
The 12,705-square-foot estate includes 170 feet of water frontage, a theatre room, wine cellar and an oversized living room looking out to the water. After long days on set spent fighting the evils of the future, we wonder if Damon will miss coming back to his master suite with private terrace where he could unwind in a large, spa-like master bath.
Former Lakers Coach Mike Brown has listed his 9,500-square-foot Anaheim Estate for $3.75 million. Between the lush palms surrounding the pool, to the rock waterfall, water side, grotto and swim-up bar, Brown’s L.A home will have you feeling like you’re at a resort. Inside features a sports bar, media room and 350-gallon fish tank, plus a private gym and master suite with its own private balcony.
Michael Blakey — the producer who has worked with artists like Willie Nelson, Eminem and No Doubt, to name a few — has recently listed his Beverly Hills estate for $4.45 million. The 5,951-square-foot estate combines the best of Los Angeles, with three patios and oversized windows providing indoor-outdoor-styled living. Unsurprisingly, the musician’s home includes a built-in sound system and state-of-the-art media room.
Though Scooby Doo hardly lived a life of luxury (the mystery machine wasn’t exactly high-end), the same can’t be said for the star who voiced him. Radio personality and voice actor Casey Kasem has recently listed his 12,000-square-foot, 2.4 –acre Los Angeles home for $42 million (pictured above, courtesy of MLS). According to la.curbed.com, despite its massive size, the mansion was designed to feel like home, with a multitude of fireplaces, heart-shaped pool and fruit trees and gardens throughout the property.
