Bay Area Housing Mix Becoming Too High Density?
Saw an interesting newsletter recently from John Burns Real Estate Consulting. Dean Wehrli authored “One Size Will Not Fit All in the San Francisco Bay Area,” about how high-density urban housing will not work for everyone. In it, he argues that the recently released Sustainable Communities Strategy (SCS) developed by the Association of Bay Area Governments (ABAG) will leave little room for traditional housing stock. While this may be true, I’m not sure that’s such a bad thing. What do you think?
