Two Real Estate Auction Veterans Launch AmeriBid
TULSA, Okla., June 20, 2012 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) — Larry Latham and Stephen Karbelk, CAI, AARE have announced the creation of AmeriBid LLC (www.AmeriBid.com), the premiere global real estate auction company. Headquartered in Tulsa, OK, AmeriBid will manage the sale of commercial, residential and agricultural properties nationwide for lenders, servicers, estates, private owners and investment companies.

With a 14-person sales team and 12 marketing employees immediately joining the new company, AmeriBid will be off to a quick start to offer its services to a diverse client base throughout the country.
“There is a need in the marketplace for an auction company that specializes in selling properties valued over $1 million,” reflects Larry Latham. “Over the next 12 months, we expect to sell over $1 billion in real estate for our clients.”
During the savings and loan crisis, Larry Latham sold through his company, Larry Latham Auctioneers, over 150,000 properties for the FDIC, RTC, HUD and VA. “Operating under the AmeriBid name, we will have the talent and resources necessary to execute on even more auctions than I did in the 80′s and 90′s.” As part of the new company, AmeriBid will also own the Larry Latham Auctioneers brand.

The AmeriBid executive team includes Stan Schreyer, who will serve as the company’s Chief Executive Officer. Stan has managed multiple national and international companies to significant success. Rob Hart will be the President and Chief Operating Officer. Rob has been a leader in the real estate auction industry for several years managing large auction transactions. John Pellow, Chief Marketing Officer, has been in the auction marketing business for the past six years and has managed millions of dollars in auction marketing campaigns.
Over the next 12 months, AmeriBid plans on tripling the size of its auctioneer sales force. “Our plan is to have the best real estate auction professionals in the business as part of the AmeriBid team.
