‘Million Dollar Closets’ Premiers Today

Airing May 18 at 8pm, Million Dollar Closets Offers a Peek into the Personal Closets of the Rich and Famous, as Designed by LA Closet Design.

LA Closet Design’s Lisa Adams, the go-to-designer for the rich and famous looking to make their closets as luxurious as the rest of their lives, now stars in the HGTV debut of Million Dollar Closets, the latest offering in the Million Dollar series, including Million Dollar Designers and Million Dollar Rooms. Goodbye Pictures and Executive Producer Rich Bye

First airing on May 18 at 8pm, Million Dollar Closets provides a dramatic look inside the world of LA’s wealthiest homeowners and the woman who helps them organize their most prized possessions. Following Adams as she transforms disorganized, cluttered and poorly designed closets into magnificent spaces that rival the size of an average apartment (and styled like the average mansion!) the show documents the life of the glamorous Adams and her ultra chic clients. Produced by Goodbye Pictures’ Executive Producer Rich Bye, Million Dollar Closets is part high-end voyeurism, part how-to guide for homeowners looking to add a little luxury to their lives.

“I’m just thrilled about this show,” said Adams. “My job allows me the opportunity to pull aside the curtain and see the real lives of wealthy and famous people – the good and the bad! But as exciting as it sounds – there are serious challenges every day. Figuring out how to store 1000 pairs of Louboutins or hundreds of Chanel and Hermes bags is harder than it sounds! But for me, it’s a thrill. Plus, everyone can take away pointers on how to organize, glamorize and even simplify daily life.”

In  this premiere one-hour special, Adams takes on clients Kris, Kylie and Kendall Jenner (of The Kardashians fame) and designer/reality star Whitney Port, among other who’s-who of Los Angeles. Getting personal and going behind the scenes to places the cameras are usually out of bounds, Adams takes a good look at the day-to-day routines of high-powered Angelenos and helps them organize the chaos of their daily lives.

Running from Bel Air estate to Malibu mansion, Adams juggles a roller coaster of high profile client demands. Without ever breaking a sweat, the always-designer-clad Adams maintains a precarious balance of expecting the unexpected and delivering the extraordinary.

From purging the excesses of an out-of-control clothing collector, to helping organize a shoe hoarder by installing a conveyor belt, Adams’ solutions are novel, bold and exciting. After the clean up session, the installation of materials like marble counters, crystal chandeliers, leather drawer fronts, fine rugs, and amenities galore including espresso makers, watch winders, safes, putting greens, televisions, cosmetic refrigerators and more – the LA Closet Design process puts Million Dollar Closets into homes worth millions more.

LA Closet Design reaches beyond the realm of function to create highly luxurious, personalized, and sustainable sanctuaries that brim with unexpected amenities while simultaneously calming the chaos of everyday living.  Offering full-scale, completely customizable wardrobe storage and design consulting as well as personal shopping and wardrobe styling services, CEO and head designer Lisa Adams aims to do with closet design what has evolved in kitchen design over the last 20 years: produce stylish but welcoming multi-functional living spaces where people want to socialize.  In order to achieve this, Adams offers features that include state-of-the-art closet organization drawers and racks as well as in-closet coffee bars, refrigerators, wine coolers and plush seating areas.
