With a slogan of “Where Sex and the City meets Mommy and Me,”Divalysscious Moms, the social-networking group designed for mothers in New York City, was just bound to raise curiosity.

In 2003, first-time mom, Lyss Stern launched Diva Moms in an effort to better balance nightlife and the responsibilities of being a mother. Fast-forward eight years, Stern has experienced great success with various partnerships, authoring a book and hostess-ing events that have taken place across the island of Manhattan.
Now, Stern is taking her business a little farther—into real estate. The new venture is called, DivaRE. Stern hosts events in areas that may be prospective homes for her clients and members of the social networking group.
Divalysscious Moms events have taken place at luxury condominiums, drawing the guests’ attention to the buildings themselves. One of the venues included the Carriage House nestled in the New York City neighborhood of Chelsea. The events still cater to the needs and interests of New York mothers, as events have featured a panel discussion on nursery schools and several book signings, one with E.L James, the author of Fifty Shades Freed. Divalysscious Moms also host events benefiting various charities.
