Actress Sandra Bullock Moves on to Beverly Hills
Miss Congeniality has a new reason to strut her stuff with the purchase of her new Beverly Hills mansion. Actress Sandra Bullock, who owns additional properties in New Orleans and her hometown Austin, Texas, recently purchased the two-story estate in Southern California for $22.95 miilion, as shown by the Multiple Listing Service.
The 7-bedroom, 8-bath home was built in 1940 and encompasses more than four park-like acres that include a swimming pool, pool house with a covered veranda, barbeque area and a tennis court. Expansive views of both the city and the shoreline can be seen from the property.
Inside the home, wood-paneled walls and dark wood add an exquisite touch, along with the large chef’s kitchen, breakfast bar, screening room, library and fully equipped gym.
Bullock, 46, is known for a number of movies including “While You Were Sleeping” (1995), “Miss Congeniality” (2000), and “The Blind Side” (2009) for which she won the lead actress Oscar award. She also will be starring in the upcoming films “Extremely Loud And Incredibly Close” and “Gravity,” both coming out in 2012.
