New luxury ski properties offer breathtaking views in Canada
A quiet alpine road winds its way high up Whistler Mountain and into the quiet serenity of the prestigious Kadenwood neighborhood. Carefully nestled among old growth forest with glorious sun-exposed views to Whistler Peak, the Coastal Range, and the lakes below, these home sites offer the ultimate in mountain privacy and luxury.
Located at the highest allowable building elevation in Whistler, nearly 1,000 feet above Whistler Creekside, Kadenwood’s estate-sized homesites represent the peak of luxury living in one of North America’s top ski resorts. Two-thirds of Kadenwood’s 60 homesites have already sold out.
The freshly debuted Phase 3 homesites are up to 1 acre in size and range in price from approximately $1.2 million to $2.5 million for the land and rare amenities. In December 2010, a private Kadenwood gondola lift, built by Doppelmayr, was opened for the exclusive use of Kadenwood owners and guests. Covering a vertical rise of 228 meters (749 feet), the gondola comfortably transports up to eight people with skis, between the Creekside Village base and Kadenwood in approximately four minutes. In the summer, bikes and strollers also can be transported between Whistler’s valley trails and the Creekside community of cafes, restaurants, and more. A true ski-in/ski-out neighborhood, Kadenwood’s ski access trails are groomed by a private piston bully groomer.
All homesites have been carefully surveyed and planned to accommodate the most spectacular views and homes.
