The Continental — A Costas Kondylis design — begins leasing

The Continental, a 53-story, 338-unit luxury rental tower at 6th Ave and 32nd Street in Manhattan, began leasing earlier this month.  This much-anticipated property features richly appointed studio, 1-bedroom, 1-bedroom-with-home-office, and 2-bedroom apartments starting on the ninth floor.

The Costas Kondylis-designed property offers residents exclusive access to The Continental Club & Spa. On-site wellness facilities include an indoor 50-foot infinity-edge pool set within a double-height, glass-enclosed atrium and extending onto a beautifully landscaped sun terrace.  A health club with a fitness and cardio center, yoga studio, his-and-her locker rooms and his-and-her treatment rooms also will be available to residents.

The club features a landscaped terrace with seating and dining areas, a fully equipped catering kitchen for residents to easily host private social events, a gaming lounge with LCD screens, and Wi-Fi access throughout. Additional services include a 24-hour doorman, concierge, BuildingLink, on-site valet, on-site parking and bicycle storage.

The tower’s state-of-the-art lobby features exclusively designed custom furnishings by Capri Furniture, Christopher Guy and J. Robert Scott. The residences themselves boast floor-to-ceiling tinted windows, ceilings as high as 10 feet, white oak flooring throughout and Asko washers and dryers in every residence.

Kitchens are beautifully finished with wood-grain cabinetry, quartz countertops, Florenza porcelain tile floors and upscale stainless steel appliances. Baths evoke a spa-like setting through polished marble countertops, recessed medicine cabinets with mirrored doors, Kohler bathtubs and polished chrome fixtures from Moen. The units will lease for $2,550 to more than $6,100.

“The building is an impressive addition to the Sixth Avenue corridor and surrounding neighborhood, which is burgeoning with new food destinations like Eataly, Bar Basque and Food Parc, hotels such as the Eventi and Gansevoort, shopping and nightlife,” says Cliff Finn, managing director for Citi Habitats Marketing Group, the exclusive marketing and leasing agent for The Continental.

Steps from restaurants, shopping, nightlife and culture, The Continental is also conveniently located near major transportation hubs such as Penn Station and the Port Authority, as well as multiple bus and subway lines, including the 1, 6, B, D, F, M, N, R, and W, and the PATH.
