Crystal Clear
It’s an almost celestial work of art. Beautifully sculpted with diamond cuts, though this is no sculpture. It’s a bathtub.
Cut from a single 10 thousand-kilo Amazonian crystal, the bathtub was designed by BALDI, an Italian company known for its uniquely exquisite handicraft. The white crystal piece was precisely carved to showcase the rock’s natural roughness.
“This is more artistic, like a sculpture,” said Luca Baldi, CEO of BALDI. “The design was according to the shape, to the angels. This is something very, very special.”
This is the second tub to be chiseled from the rock, imported to Italy over a six-month period. The ethereal-looking creation costs nearly $800,000 and was on display at Harrods in London until the end of July.

Butler began designing custom play structures in 1987, and her company has since made structures for celebrities such as Will and Jada Pinket Smith, Robert Redford and Kevin Kline. Ranging in price from $2,500 to upwards of $100,000, each fantastical play set is built from natural redwood, proving to be both fun and environmentally friendly.
Butler’s play structures know no limits. From tree houses to play forts, and play houses to
theaters, the structures put the focus on outdoor play and entertainment.
