Park City Arts Festival Features Captivating Exhibits
For all the art lovers out there, the Park City Kimball Arts Festival is back just in time for a weekend of summer fun! The annual festival in Park City, UT is set to take place on August 6 through August 8. The much-anticipated artistic festivities not only include a wide variety of art exhibitions but also live music, delectable cuisine and art-focused film screenings for further enjoyment. With more than a thousand submissions from artists of all fortes and experience levels, the Park City Kimball Arts Festival jury selected the top pieces to feature, from ceramics and drawings to photographs and sculptures. Get ready to be inspired!
In addition to the sensory experiences ranging from visuals, food and music, attendees will have the chance to view and purchase artwork from RELEVANT participants from the first Kimball Art Center artist-in-residence program. The program, which gives college and graduate art students the opportunity to learn the ins and outs of becoming a thriving artist, has stimulated members to create impressive pieces.
Attendants are also encouraged to get involved in the Park city Kimball Arts Festival Opening Night Gala and Art Auction on August 6, the opening night of the festival. The event aims to raise money for year-round programs. Participants will have the opportunity to view works from renowned artists, students of the Kimball’s Young Artists’ Academy and work created for RELEVANT 2010.
