Connecting Clients to Agents

apps_kenex_sandicorSandicor is taking GPS to a whole other level.

Though GPS (global positioning system) isn’t new to smart phones, a new application aimed at helping Realtors and their clients find homes is making its way to the application market. Two separate applications — one for the client and one for the Realtor — will allow the Realtor to view the location of his or her client, with permission, of course. The application is also a way for both the agent and client to view photos, track homes visited and comment on the homes.

Although it seems a bit Big Brother-esque, the application will only allow one to see the location of a client when the application itself is in use. Like many other smart phone apps, this real estate tool is a sure-fire way for agents to better aid their clients’ search for the best possible home.

Dave Borrillo, chief technical officer for DoApp and head of the iKenex product, says the application allows the agent to be with the client “even though they’re not.” The Realtor can keep tabs on their clients through social networking websites like Facebook and Twitter, and quickly answer any questions or offer other options.

According to the article, such capabilities will be available in upcoming weeks.
