Cassa Hotel and Residences in NYC Opening August 2010

Cassa Hotel and Residences will open its doors in August 2010 as the newest iconic building in the heart of midtown Manhattan created by world-renowned architect Enrique Norten of TEN Arquitectos in collaboration with CetraRuddy.

Offering a luxurious hotel experience of sophisticated style and quiet indulgence, Cassa Hotel and Residences is contemporary in design yet warm and inviting. Its stimulation to the senses extends beyond its tapering exterior, as the hotel casts a unique shadow that falls upon the world-class shopping experiences of Fifth and Madison Avenues, the bustle of Times Square, and the bright lights of Broadway in New York’s renowned theatre district. Elegantly proportioned, the striking exterior rises as a distinctive edifice among its traditional neighbors, striking a timeless new design statement on the New York City skyline.

1945, the hotel’s restaurant and lounge, was designed by architect Thaddeus Briner with a chic and modern spin of downtown creative cool. 1945 offers a voluminous sculptural setting with a dining room equipped with rich fabrics, lighting and sound experiences. Healthy and organic interpretations of Mid-Century American cuisine can be found on the menu.
