Aspen Ranch Sells for $24.5 million
After having been on the market for less than a year, the Aspen Lakes Ranch was sold for $24.5 million, marking the mountain city’s most expensive — and impressive — sale in over a year. Resting on almost 9 acres, the ranch contains seven bedrooms with eight and one-half bathrooms and all-encompassing views of the gorgeous landscape. It was built in 2009 by developer Bob Bowden, owner of ALR II Development, Inc.
Brian Hazen of Mason Morse, who represented the buyer of the ranch, feels that the sale represents a promising outlook for Aspen’s real estate market.
“The prices will go where they need to go, based on economic principles,” he said in this article by The Aspen Times. “I judge Aspen by its quality of life and whether it’s still desirable, and I think [the sale] gives proof that we are a very, very desirable place, and people are still looking for a good value.”

That view like a fine Picaso painting would keep one entranced and is excellent value just like a masters painting!
