Updates Help Users, Realtors
Realtor.com is putting a new spin on its Web site that includes amped-up search capabilities. The beta site, launched today, uses a map-based technology that provides a comprehensive look at specific homes as well as neighboring areas and even the housing markets of different locations, according to Inman News.
“Heat maps” display home prices and property values, and users can even access information about how much a particular home sold for. Other new features include parcel-level zoom, which allows visitors to view individual properties, and the availability of tax and sales history of each home, according to Inman News.
One new feature that could make the new Web site successful is that it enables users to connect with a wide variety of Realtors who can offer sound advice. The site will not only be more user-friendly in that it provides more information, but it can be beneficial in driving business toward Realtors who have current, unsold listings. Users can search for homes, but they can also search for specific Realtor profiles, as well. Check out the full story at Inman News by clicking here.
