We’ve been waiting for confirmation, and today we get it from the Los Angeles Times: Le Belvédère has sold for more than $50 million. The Bel Air, Calif., estate was featured on our June/July 2009 cover (the photo is of the home’s Turkish hammam) and was the 5th most expensive listing in the U.S. last year, according to Ultimate Homes 2009. At that time it was listed for $85 million. The 48,000-square-foot manse was reduced to $72 million in August of last year, and now apparently is in the hands of a new Indonesian owner. Congratulations to listing agents Joyce Rey and Stacy Gottula of Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage.
