The Ultimate Bath
We continue our yearlong “Ultimate” series this issue, with the Ultimate Baths contest. Realtors were invited to submit luxury listings with truly exceptional, top-of-the-line baths. We sorted through terrific entries from coast to coast, and we narrowed the field to about two-dozen finalists. Our editors were tasked with selecting five winners. Here they are.
We judged on six criteria:
The design of the bathroom. This included aesthetic appeal and consideration of the materials and finishes used.
Functionality.
Technology/amenities., such as “green” features or other unusual aspects that would make the bathroom appealing to high-end consumers.
Views.
Overall “wow” factor.
Miscellaneous considerations
We did not rank the top five. That was up to you.

This bathroom brings me a memory of traveling in Southeast Asia staying at the top 5 star hotels.
