Additions Made To Green Residential Remodeling Guidelines
The American Society of Interior Designers (ASID) and the U.S. Green Building Council (USGBC) announce that the nation’s first green residential remodeling guidelines now have new additions to them. The guidelines were announced at the annual Greenbuild International Conference Expo in Phoenix, Arizona, which took place November 11–13. Because there have been over 100,000 downloads since its launch in March 2008, the REGREEN guidelines now include three webinars, four online CEUs, a two-day workshop at Greenbuild, an updated Web site – www.regreenprogram.org – and a REGREEN certificate program.
ASID Deputy Executive Director Thom Banks says, “From its inception, the REGREEN program was designed to expand beyond the guidelines. The capabilities of the Web site as well as the content of the educational offerings are exceptional, enriching the program and setting the direction for future REGREEN resources.”

The revamped Web site is now launched as of the Greenbuild conference dates, where you will find more user-friendly guidelines that better illustrate the integrated design concepts at the core of REGREEN.
The newly developed educational offerings will ultimately culminate in a REGREEN Certificate. More details will be made available at: www.regreenprogram.org.
