The Boston Herald reported yesterday that Boston Red Sox owner John Henry wants to tear down the Brookline, Mass., mansion that he recently purchased for $16 million. A local Realtor exclaimed that this could be a record-breaking teardown. But reports indicate that the town’s Preservation Commission may try to block the demolition.
