A New York moving company has developed what it claims is the first moving service specifically designed for the rich. FlatRate Moving, a recipient of a Forbes Enterprise Award and multiple Best of CitySearch awards, is introducing an Elite line of services, which it says is a direct response to a growing demand for a more high-end moving alternative.
An Elite Liaison assists customers throughout the process and can even manage the entire move in their absence. The liaison leads a team that packs and transports using a photographed inventory system. Climate-controlled vehicles are available, and the company says it specializes in moving art, antiques, pianos, and wine cellars. It can even provide a personal organizer, cleaning, car service, unpacking and setup, a locksmith, electronics/IT setup, a handyman and carpentry.
